BabyBodyBirth was founded in 2005 by Dawn Weismer with the idea of starting a better company with a modern approach to childbirth education.  The curriculum was headed by Chava Ortner and designed in 2006 with many contributions of time and great ideas by a forward-thinking group of experienced teachers, who are also our BBB Educators.  We engaged the help of experts in specific topics related to pregnancy, childbirth, and newborns to ensure the quality of our classes.  A creative stamp on the way concepts are taught and a deep influence in adult learning principles has yielded a set of classes that are innovative, fun, and comprehensive.  

Classes were piloted in 2006 through the beginning of 2007 and the first public training session for BBB Educators was in July 2007.  Trainings will be held across the country (see the 2008 Training Schedule under the 'Certify' section) to increase our national presence and expand access to our classes locally.
